The Goreanroleplay is really fantastic game to play. There are great roles to play, you can be whatever you want to be. It is as if you are playing your own role in an exiting book and when you act, the story is changing. It is an interactive book.
As it is in every game it is normal my real feelings are involved in this game too. This way the story becomes very realistic. I feel real love for lots of other players and sometimes others can upset me. Mixing up your real feelings in this game is natural, i cant shut down my feelings and play this game as a machine. When is see something funny, i have to laugh, sometimes i have tears in my eyes. When i get those emotions it can be seen as compliments for the other roleplayer but it shows also how involved i am with this game. I think it cant be played without our real feelings, because it would not be fun anymore.
I am very long Master and owner of slaves in RL. I know where i am talking about when i say slaves are very special humen. In our world slavery is often seen as not normal but natural slaves are only happy when they are owned so they may serve. Why is it not normal to become happy on your own mannor?
Who is willing to give hisself completely to an other, physically as well as mentally? Who wants to serve a life long together with others a Master? Who is so stupid to do this?
I think you have to be very special to give all you have including yourself to an other and allow him do with you what he wants to do with you.
Living a life of serving and being owned comletely give slaves pleasure and satisfaction, it make them feel happy. A good Master is blindly trusted by his slaves, they follow his orders with love and the only pleasure they allow themselves is feeling happy when their Master is completely satisfied.
A good Master is a Master that is a natural dominant, he can order his slaves with a wink of his eyes. He doesnot need to use violence to make slaves his property. A master that only uses violence to train his slaves, is a weak Master and certainly not natural. Domination has to be done with love, respect and justice, those are the most powerfull tools a man has.
In the Goreanroleplay slaves are considdered as beasts and after they are trained they can become Kajiri. So in Gor it is not common to train slaves with love. In the roleplay the Free is Master and may use as much cruel violence as he wants on his slaves and as long as it is roleplayed there is nothing wrong with it, after all it is a very serious game.
However the game must be fun for both parties. When a Free is mastering his boy not completely according the rules of the roleplay he can seriously damage his boy in his real feelings. Slaves will do all for their Masters to make them happy and in their eager to serve they will easely forget to guard their limits or the rules of the game. We cannot blame the slave for this because it is in their nature to serve completely. It has to be the responsibility of the Master to respect the limits of the other player and the rules of the game.
As a mentalhealer i often meet several natural slaves who are in their real feelings badly damaged by so called "Masters" in Gor. Most slaves does not understand what happened, they were eagerly serving whithout noticing something was wrong. All of the hurted slaves i have spoken, thought they were making faults, they thought they were not good serving. So they tried to serve harder and harder. All those boys blamed themselves for the fact their Master was not satisfied by them and those boys went too far in serving. They passed natural limits that has to be respected. Their Masters must have noticed it but they went on and on, until the slave was broken in his real feelings. Then the Masters found an excuse so they can throw the slave away like dirt, acting as if this is normal in Gor. Without knowing what exactly happened with them the boys got sick in RL.
I call such very wrong "masters"; sadistic savages. It is not normal what they do. In Gor there may be savages and a player may act as a savage, but it always has to be roleplayed according the rules of the game and the savage has to take his responsability.
This makes a big difference and the roleplay may never be used as an excuse for being a real savage. This roleplay has not only to be fun for all players, it has to be safe for every player too.
